We had tried everything to lift her self-esteem & spirit -- then she found the art barn at Ballibay -- where she spent hours... made more friends & strengthened in spirit & soul. What more can parents ask for in a summer experience?

Ceramics at Camp Ballibay

Literally 'the coolest place on campus,' the ceramics studio occupies the bottom floor of a beautiful rustic barn that stays cool even on the hottest summer days.

One or two staffpeople are always available in the studio to help campers get started with projects, and to give them guidance in ongoing projects. Many of our campers only have a little experience, or are working with clay for the first time, but our program also draws serious ceramics students who return to camp year after year because of the access and freedom that our program offers.

Campers love working on the pottery wheels, and our staff gives excellent instruction. In addition to the three kick wheels, a large area of the studio is devoted to hand building and glazing.
